How many people played and completed Final Fantasy X? What did you think of the ending?

    one of my favourite games of all time ... but i did think the ending was kinda bs when tidus disappears

    it's a great game, ending was a little messed up. How would you feel knowing that doing the greatest good or to help all of the people in spira would cost you your existance. it was a decent ending, the last fight was too easy, but if it's helps in X-2 tidus lives, and they get back together.

    I LOVED the game.... was VERY VERY VERY disappointed with the ending... especially the final battles where you get auto-life. Haha, I love the fact though that yevon is basically a bug! sorry my humour =). I must admit i am quite furious about the whole x-2 thing.. If you are going to have part 2 of a game... (and have as many endings as it does...-we all know which ending we want!!) then it has to be in the same (or VERY VERY simarlar) format. I can't play 10-2 but I loved 10. ='( xx

    Been a longe time since I played that game. It's a great game, tough. About the ending, I really didn't like it to much. Especially not the last boss. To me, the ending seems kind of thrown together, and mixed up with unanswered questions. But hey, thats just my personal opinion.

    Final Fantasy 10 was one of the most exciting games I have ever played. The game was intense. It was funny, sad, and even kind of depressing. The story line is awesome. I and I am sure everyone else wished the story would never end. The end was well anticipated though. They give you small hints through-out the game of how he is only a dream of the faith. I knew that once sin was defeated that Tidus would disappear. And I hated Final Fantasy 10 part 2. It wasn't as much fun as the other. But the cutscenes were awesome. Good music. The end wasn't so bad. But I too was sad about it all.

    I thought the ending was pretty sad.I even recorded the music on my phone :D
    I was dissapointed though that you couldnt save.

    I really want to play ffx-2. Ill be going to gamestop anytime this month!

    Has anyone noticed that at the end of almost every final fantasy game, the main character either dies or dissapears?

    Final Fantasy X was cool all around, and he did not dissapear, for if you played X-2 and got the perfect ending (100%), you would know that Tidus was swimming in the farplane I believe, and he survived, despite his being just a fayth dream in the outset.

    AWSOME Game!!! I played and beat it 3 times. The ending could of been a little bit more compasionate about Tidus and Yuna enjoying life together in peace. (not to mention the rest of the party!)

    i thought the ending was really sad, i was playing x-2 but my ps2 was taken from me, once i get it back ill finish it and find out what happens...though someone elses answer already spoiled it for me >_<
