"They" are just making this stuff up anyway. Eat what you like!

Yes, I think that would be fine. I find this funny because I'm the opposite... love fruit, not so much the veggies, though I do eat some of them.

Are you bargaining here?

Try V8Fusion. Drink your Fruits and Veggies and it tastes great.

Good question, plus 3. Have you tried smoothies? A banana, yogurt, some frozen or fresh strawberries, or use some silken tofu in the blender, add honey or splenda, and frozen strawberries or another berry of your choice, add some cool whip. It is ok not to eat fruit, but, remember tomatoes and avocadoes are fruits too. And veggies have many of the same nutrients as fruits, just in different ratios, as long as you eat veggies each day it shouldn't be a problem.

Try a fusion beverage

I will eat your fruit if you eat my veggies! ;)

If you skip your fruit you will regret it when you are older.

Look at why we are meant to eat more fruit and veg from a common sense perspective. i.e. it is a natural way to get vitamins and minerals into your body as well as fibre to aid digestion, who needs vitamin pills when we are getting the real thing? To fill up on fresh fruit and veg (low fat, natural sugars) instead of processed, refined, low-fibre, high-energy, high on saturated fat food is going to help your body function better and have a lower risk of cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and obesity. Really it does not matter if you omit fruit and only eat vegetables instead. However fruit is recommended because if you want a sugary snack you are better off eating fruit than a candy bar. If you are happy to snack on carrots or a banana or other low fat, unrefined foods etc instead then that is no problem is it? Especially if you are not really a sweet-food snacker, maybe you are sweet enough? (or more likely you get enough sustained energy from your vegetables or carbs). It is not rocket science, we don't need fancy nutritionists, books and tv shows to tell us this stuff, it is all just common sense! I am not a huge fan of fruit when it is out of season, it just tastes rubbish!

Firstly, you will lose out on a lot of essential vitamins and minerals. a deficiency (lack of) any of these will result in one or another illness. A severe case of no fruit and vegetables at all will result in a life threatening disease called scurvy Fruits have natural sugars, called glucose. The body needs glucose like it needs water,

You really should eat fruit, if you can too. Would you be able to eat unsweetened applesauce or canned fruit cocktail ... or at least some fruit juice??
-
The fructose found in fruit is a natural carbohydrate, and is therefore metabolized better in your body. You can't argue with a couple of million years of natural selection (okay, I guess you can... but you'd be wrong.) As for vitamins and minerals and that ilk... you can just as much from veggies. And as for sugars, Beets, carrots and sweet peas are just as good a supply of natural sugar as any fruit. Just don't say, "I don't like fruit," as you're reaching for a Three Musketeers or Mars Bar. Hope this helps.
