Help answer this question below.

I have recently installed Norton Anti Virus 2005 and cannot enable the Automatic LiveUpdate. How can I fix this?

    Uninstall and install AVG - it's free, and better IMHO.

    Norton antivirus version 2006 and before:

    1) First open up your norton antivirus, by double clicking the small icon in the bottom of the toobar. (The opposite side of where your start button is.

    2) Click on the options tab and and choose Norton Antivirus, and a window displaying options should show up.

    3) Click where it says "Live Updates".

    4) Check Turn automatic LiveUpdate on (recommended). This turns on Automatic LiveUpdate for all Norton programs.

    5) Click "OK" to save your setting changes.

    2)On the Norton AntiVirus tab or the Norton Internet Security tab, click Settings.

    3)Under Basic Security, click LiveUpdate.

    4) Click Turn On.

    If this doesn't work you might try to diable your firewall or other antivirus software you have installed in your machine. Try reinstalling norton if nothing works out.
