    Eleven states have legalized medical marijuana in some form, though conflicts have arisen because federal courts don’t always recognize state legislation.

    11 states have. CA, HA, RI, OR, and 8 others. I'm currently writing a thesis on medical marijuana for English 12. And my dad has a medical marijuana card in RI so if there are any other questions, I could probably answer them for you.

    Currently twelve states have medical marijuana:

    1. Alaska - 1999
    2. California - 1996
    3. Colorado - 2000
    4. Hawaii - 2000
    5. Maine - 1999
    6. Montana - 2004
    7. Nevada - 2000
    8. New Mexico - 2008
    9. Oregon - 1998
    10. Rhode Island - 2006
    11. Vermont - 2004
    12. Washington - 1996

    You can still be prosecuted by the federal government. Most likely you won't be though, unless you are a growing a very large quantity.

    Well as this year there are 12 state that have legalized marijunan. I only know Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Nevada, Oregon and Washington these nine. I am doing a paper for my English 1010 I would like to know the last three if anyone could tell me!!
