  • It is not bad to fill it to the "full" point, but it is bad to "overfill" it (as many people tried to do before full pumps has the automatic shut off). It IS bad to let it run all the way down, especially in winter.
  • The only thing bad about it for me is that it breaks the bank. I have a 20 gallon tank and get about 18 miles per.
  • the only bad thing i can think of is if you have a full tank and your car gets pinched over night then they could go a long way in it. so if i could drive i wouldmt fill the tank up for that reason
  • If you fill it in the evening or early morning and let it sit all day, then maybe if it is a warm day the gas will expand and leak. Most cars have pressurized systems so the expansion on an overfilled tank could be compromized.
