  • As far as what? All he thinks is that she was texting a boy when it was really you. I think both of you are overreacting. He's overreacting to her and you're overreacting to him.
  • As parents it your duty to take an active role in all aspect of your children lives, and that includes who and when they texting to, or speaking with on the telephone. As is it to go through their bedrooms and snoop.. One of the biggest problems with children getting into situations they should never have been involved in, is parents believing their children would not lie to them, and my child would never do that, whatever that is; Drugs, sex, etc. If you love your child stay involved.
  • he might possibly be overreacting. if he is concerned, maybe have him look at who your daughter texts. when he sees she isnt texting boys, he will probably calm down.
  • well honestly im a 14 yr. old girl and i have had problems with that with my dad before. if i was you i would tell your daughter that she should just show him the texts and that it's just you.
