I live in the state of pennsylvania, i want to get a free credit report online, but every site i go to they want a credit card number. i really don't feel comfortable giving out my credit card ....can anyone give me a totally free site..please.ty

    You are not using the right website. The ONLY place to get your Federally mandated free credit reports is from:

    https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index

    And don't buy the credit scores they try to add on, okay? They're a rip-off:

    http://creditreportscrub.blogspot.com/2008/12/about-those-other-scores.html

    If you want to see your credit scores, you will want to get your FICO score, and there is only one place to get that:

    http://www.myfico.com/Default.aspx

    The FICO scores will cost you money, though...and you can only get them from Equifax and TransUnion. Experian stopped providing them to consumers a few months ago.
