My 1996 GMC Jimmy has no rear brake lights but the center lights work. Also no hazard flashers. I checked the fuses and bulbs and OK. Wh

i think you need a new turn signal switch ass.

- I agree if there are no brake lights or 4 way flashers then the turn signal switch has failed. GM has had alot of problems with these switches.

your trucks a pile! but all jimmy's are so it's the brand lol. you need a new rear light esembly!

check the wiring underneath near the rear bumper, and if you have a trailer harness theres a good chance thats the problem

Why won't my brake lights work on my GMC 5500? The bulbs are ok and the turn signals, hazard lights, and reverse lights work fine. The same goes for the trailer. All but the brake lights work.
