How long does it take for food to completly pass through the digestive system? I thought four hours, but others disagree.

    As for liquids, that's far shorter a time. It can even be less than 2 hours.

    48hs on average but if it is a liquid just 24hrs

    It takes about 24 hours from the time you eat something till the time it begins to pass from your system. It can take up to 72 hours for some foods to be fully digested and excreted.
