I have strong feelings for me ex girlfriend's friend. We kissed the other night, but she says that she's still in love with her ex boyfriend who's in a new relationship. This hurts like hell, what can I do to fix this?

Realize that "this too...will pass." This can be a time of very fluctuating emotions for young people. I'm not saying that your feelings are not strong or valid, but that it's like being on a roller coaster sometimes. (a whole lotta fun, until somebody starts puking)

As said...Step Back, give yourself and this young lady some time and SPACE to think about what EACH of you is interested in doing and with whom.

YOU cannot fix anything here. The girl you are interested in has some thinking to do and some choices to make. HER choices, if they do not include you, DO NOT MEAN you are NOT handsome, intelligent, fun, or any other positive thing...you are not a looser if she doesn't "choose you." You are, however, free to continue being open to meeting additional young ladies, who are intelligent, cute, fun and value YOUR company and what you can bring to a friendship that might grow into something more.

Of course you can't right now...the feelings are very real, strong and as you said, painful. Just do the best you can, and try not to make yourself totally miserable, while she is processing her own thought on it.

Everyone has the potential to be incredible, Chileto...including YOU, if she doesn't see that...maybe she's not as incredible as you think she is at this time...Don't over load your pack with worry...it won't make you look more handsome, or come across as even reasonably self assured..do not make yourself look weak
