Help answer this question below.

Here we are facing starvation after 8 years of W, and cable TV still wants $2,000 a month. Has anyone else disconnected the cable from their TVs?

    Have they lost their mind? I only got it for my kids,
    but as far as me, I can do without it. I hardly watch
    any TV at all anyway.

    I did change cable companies for a better rate. New customers are always treated better than loyal long standing ones.

    I don't have cable, but I agree with you that they charge ridiculous prices (though I've never found a company that charges $2,000). There are other alternatives, such as watching your favorite shows on hulu and dvd's.

    I have no cable...but it was $125.00 per month.
    Who charges $2000.00 per month and why on earth would you pay that?

    I haven't because I can afford to pay the $73.40/month that Time-Warner charges me.

    I just do not like TV enough to even want cable or satellite at any price (Videotron Illico has a $20.00 per month for 20 channels package) ... I have several friends that have "TV4PC" ... it is a computer program that you only pay for once, NOT monthly ... then, via a high speed internet connection, you get unlimited access to several thousand TV channels from all over the world.

    ... for many years, all I have had are the "free airwaves" local TV stations ...
