Question

Help answer this question below.

I work in an office where I am the only man. Every Valentine's Day I buy each woman a flower and a small box of candy. All the ladies are older than me and they really appreciate the gesture. Should my girlfriend be threatened by this in any way?

as long as you do more for her to make her feel like your #1 than she shouldnt be mad.

There should be no problem, as long as what you do for her is *more* than what you do for all these ladies.

Also, make sure that every woman you work with gets *exactly* the same thing, don't give one woman more than everyone else, as she could make it out to be more than it is.

I think that it's a very nice thing you do for your coworkers, just make sure your girlfriend feels that she is receiving more attention than they are.

I think it is lovely! I worked for a company where the (male) owner was always doing nice things like that - and to this day, I miss it.

If you girlfriend understands that you are a kind and generous person who also knows how to "sweeten" your professional working relationships, she should not be jealous.

If she does not understand that side of you, or your motives, she might be confused, and thus, jealous.

And if you don't do something for HER for Valentines Day that is equally as nice or nicer, she should dump you :o)

I don't think she has a reason to be threatened. I'm sorry if she does feel that way. :(

If it doesn't make her feel uncomfortable, and if your gestures are purely platonic, or to build "good working relationships", then she should be fine with it. As long as you are also giving her gifts on Valentine's Day, that is.

Absolutely not...you are buying for all and all the same thing...I wish I worked with you. You sound like a real sweetheart.
