Help answer this question below.

My head is bleeding, what should i do? i got hit in the head with a can today and i haven't noticed until 4 hours later...

    Head wounds typically bleed a lot. However, the bleeding isn't the worst possible thing in this situation. Depending on how hard you got hit in the head you could have suffered internal brain damage, contusion, etc. I would go to the ER or Urgent care facility (whichever has a CT machine) and get checked out by a professional who can physically examine your wound and any other possible things going on.

    it has been 4 hrs and it hasn't stopped bleading. go to ER. hope there is someone who can drive u.

    The skull tends to bleed alot due to nerve endings and where they are located. Keep a sterile gauze on it with some pressure for a good 15 minutes. If that doesnt stop it, you may need stitches.
