cunning stunt who u calling chicken

I live in Indianapolis and I promise you, an hour north of you we can't leave a rubber tree out in winter.
I have a micro climate in my back yard (south facing exposure, pool, lots of concrete), and I have problems with my hardy banana tree. I mulch it in, bury it deeper, cover it .... This last winter was first time I could keep one alive outside. And I had to check on it all the time....
    good luck!
