2. some organs are meant to be on one side or the other (like the spleen and the liver)
3. there's no way the intestines could be symmetrically laid out and still function

You would think so, but you'd need to consult an anatomy expert. On the silly side, I'd say as soon as the symmetrical person parted his/her hair somewhere other than the middle or cut one fingernail slightly different from another that would end the symmetricality.
