With my coverage, anybody can drive my car and it will be covered. I was told that the insurance is tied to the car, not the driver. (SafeCo)
But thats just me. Your mileage may vary.
That you have full coverage is probably irrelevant. If you have liability insurance in your name, I believe you are covered driving ANY vehicle but the vehicle itself would probably not be covered, only the damaged you have caused others. If the owner has his own insurance his insurance would probably cover everything, even the damage to his vehicle if he has full coverage. This may or may not be accurate as policies differ from company to company. This is really a question for your agents.

You're reading If you have a car with full auto. insurance, but you drive a friends car and get into an accident. Will your Insurance cover the damages, or the owners Insurance will have to cover the damages?

Ok, I was wondering, when I went on vacation last year I rented a car and they accepted my insurance from my personal car.
