Question

I just finished reading Chock by Chuck Palahniuk. It's the 3rd book that I have read by him. Many people say that his writing is vulgar, but I love how he ties everything together so beautifully at the end of his books. What do you think about his work?

I've saw a few movies based on his books, so a friend lent me Survivor. It's true that he has a really original take on things, but I haven't quite finished the book yet. I feel like you have to be in a quirky, society-criticizing mood to enjoy him. I can't emotionally connect to the characters because they're so fucked up and unrealistic; they certainly are characters, and very entertaining ones. His plots are really quite intricate too it seems, which is nice. It's very easy to see the scenes in your minds, his description of imagery is pretty fun and amazing. Hm, suppose that's all I can think of to say.
