this is not exactly true..... though this really depends on what age group of girls you are talking about. from about 10-13 i prefered to text my guy friends. now from 14-17 i MUCH prefer to call my boyfriend and talk on the phone. maybe the girl you are assuming this about is shy and nervous to talk with you over the phone. it all just depends on individual preference of a person...... but, if your girl wants to text, let her text....dont try and make her uncomfortable by MAKING her talk on the phone.....she'll want to talk eventually.....just hang in there for awhile and let it happen with time. =)

I think its the situation, for example in college classrooms I always see people texting during class which is disrespectful in IMO of course, I'm sure it's always an emergency....right.

I'd rather talk than text. I hate how EVERYONE (male or female) always use texting as the main way of communication. It's killing me

I prefer it. Good for them. The truth is that most females are boring as Hell on the phone. They ramble like mental patients. So be careful what you wish for.

Because texting is quick, private and just overall more fun.
