Did AB lay off all their programmers or something? It seems to be running so slooooow lately. Is it just me or are you feeling the same way?

They did not lay off anyone, but the person who was in charge of programming and the glitches has left as said by AB Rich in his blog. We desperately need help with the site, it is way too slow, no way to upload images, posting and rating has become torture and as you all have noticed it is very difficult to get an answer because it simply won't appear.

It is ridiculous that I have to be chasing my answers all over the site, when we ask to see our answer we land anywhere but were we should there also is a 404 error page which I had never seen before. The feedback yellow light never goes off no matter what we may do.

All these problems have become too much to tolerate reason why many users are taking a hiatus until things are alright again.

No, I seem to be running at about the same speed as normal. Not slow, but certainly not fast, either. Sort of half-fast, I guess.

I thought it was my computer but having added 2 gb of ram to my Imac.this site is almost snail paced to load up pages a whole minute up to 5 minutes making it imposssible to use at the moment.thanks for this question I thought IT was my internet connection or firefox settings.

I'm guessing it is more likely a bandwidth or server issue. Too many people using the site and not enough server power or transfer speed to handle all the data being exchanged. That would explain why it seems to peak at certain times, as there will be more people using the site at different parts of the day.

It's been very slow the past 2 days.
The first two answers I tried to give today disappeared.
Comments and points aren't being posted either.

I have noticed it too.

everybody's feeling the same.. probably many users in this time.. peak time at night in east and peak time in morning in west. :))
