  • I have never had an issue with my Tom Tom GPS.
  • Yes especially when there's too much traffic diversions in the city centre it tends to send me around in circles.
  • I don't rely upon those outdated technologies.The technology I have,could find you a way out of any hell.
  • The only way I can see that happening is if the driver enters an area or region in which the GPS drops or fails to pick up any satellite signals for an extended period. I haven't driven anywhere that would have such a blind spot big enough that it would enable my TomTom to be that ineffective.
  • only once. Headed to the house from walmart. Well brand new condo, typed address in, somehow ended up 2 blocks from base and our condo was a taco bell.
  • Tom Tom took us through at least 10 miles of logging roads. Sure it was the shortest distance but when you have a 100+ foot embankment on either side of you on a gravel road you kind of get nervous. Great view though.
  • Not due to the GPS, but the Route 66 maps for Eastern Europe have a lot of mistakes!
  • Going to a pub and grill in Johannesburg the thing told us we had reached our destinationn. We were still at a toll gate.
  • Many, many times in Providence, RI, when we were visiting. There was recently some major highway construction, and we're too cheap to update the maps, so we would be constantly sent in circles.
