  • Nope :)
  • I haven't forgiven Bush for a damn thing. It isn't likely to ever happen either if he doesn't apologize.
  • Hey Cowboys....Although Pres. Bush did some things I was not to happy about, This is something he would never do..That is the difference between a statesman and a rock star...
  • A double standard to be sure.
  • In the beginning of his first term in office, we DID forgive him for his errors. But after so long, you have to start demanding he stop making the same ones or similar ones over and over. Unfortunately Bush never could learn anything. Including how to apologize.
  • I cannot remember the quote, but during a press conference, someone asked Bush if he ever did anything wrong or that he was not proud of... and Bush "couldn't think of one". Translation: he never makes mistakes, and he'd never apologize. So to answer your question: No. No apology / No forgiveness.
  • He didn't. He made fun of himself.
  • I am sure some people would have a double standard there. Myself, regardless of who it was I would be offended! It really upset me when Obama said that.
  • I don't "forgive" Obama - it was a mistake, and counts against him. But everybody is allowed a few mistakes in off-the-cuff chat; Bush certainly made enough slips of the tongue, and for the first year or so they, too, went on his "anybody makes mistakes" tab. Why did you feel it necessary to include Barack Hussein Obama's middle name but not George Walker Bush's? To do so, to me, is like a flashing neon sign saying "Bigot". If you want to get into reasonable debate and have a chance of convincing anyone, you need to learn to conceal your prejudices better.
  • I'm pretty sure he wasn't making fun of those special little guys when he said what he said. I mean, I don't even think Bush would have been stupid enough to crack jokes about retards and cripples while he was president. But, people will hear whatever they want to hear, I guess. However, if Obama really did make fun of them for the sake of lulz, I would forgive him easily. Same with Bush, actually. Any president who has the balls to make fun of retards while under the scrutiny of the entire nation has my respect.
  • He made fun of himself, it was funny. What is there to forgive?
