I would say, "Boss, I won the lottery. As soon as you can find a good replacement, I am going to resign."

Well, it depends how much I won on the lottery. If I won $100,000, I wouldn't quit my job at all. With yearly taxes, high prices for everything, it would all be gone in like 2 years. If I won over $500,000, then I would quit my job and find one that doesn't take as much work to do, or is less hours, or less days of the week. If I won $1,000,000,000.00 and over, then I would go up my boss and say..."I'm gone, m*****f****r!! You can find yourself another employee. I'M RICH, BIATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give my two weeks notice, then the boss would tell me, 'you stil have 3 weeks vacation owed to you for this year'. I would then say, 'Nice working with you all these years, have a nice life'.

If I win the big prize, I'd take a shite on my bosses desk and tell him I'm gone.

If I win a medium prize, I'd take a shite on his desk and tell him I'm gonna work half time.

Winning the lottery would give me that extra boost in order to really be creative.

I would leave my current job for sure.

For sure I would just get up and leave - not saying anything to anybody. Peolple have a way of mucking up a persons plans if they think youve come into something good.

If I could live off of the money comfortably, I would only work part-time.

Yes I hate my job, I'd quit immeidatly.

But I wouldn't stop working, as soon as I had built my home, I think I would go get certified as a ballroom dance instructor and open up my own dance studio. I'd hire some good instructors to teach there.

After I got it turning a profit or at least holding its own then I would pay to have my old partner certified and open up a second one in her area and let her manage it.

Then I would spend my off time figureing out who I'm gonna give money to.

(BTW I would also put 10 or 20 million dollars away in a interest bearing account to live off of.)

Assuming I won a ridiculous amount of money (and that I actually bought tickets, which I do not)....

Then I would quit my current job (but train someone else first), and happily take the time to go back to Uni and get Post-graduate education, and then take the time I need to find a job and company that suited my needs. I'm not one for having nothing to do, but this *ideal* job would not be 40 hours a week!
