If the believe in god was determined with 99.9999% confidence to stem from a gene in the body, would you become an atheist or assert that the devil is trying to trick us? Or something else?

    I'd question the nature of reality and the validity of the science involved. Genetically induced delusions... who knew?

    It wouldn't change my world view much. If Empirical
    Science quantifies something, that doesn't mean it wasn't there before. That is the problem with Science, and also its beauty. Science is forever proving positives, but cannot prove a negative (logically impossible).

    I would not change.
    Either my beliefs are solidly based in the best information I have available,
    or it's in the genes and I CAN'T change it!
