Why is it that only Watergate and Monica Lewinsky are the only 2 subcategories in Political Scandals.?...C'mon, Watergate and Lewinsky???..... can you think of better ones?

    Some scandals are below.
    Jeremy Thorpe Matthew Parris described the events that brought about the downfall of former Liberal leader Jeremy Thorpe, as the “most sensational [scandal] of the parliamentary century, bar the Profumo scandal”. Though married, Thorpe found his sexuality frequently debated, the rumour-mongering fuelled by the claims of former male model Norman Scott, who repeatedly insisted that he and Thorpe had been homosexual lovers in the early 1960s.
    In March 1975, Scott, while walking a friend’s Great Dane – Rinka – was confronted by a gun-wielding man, Andrew Newton, who shot the dog and is alleged to have tried to kill Scott too. Accused of arranging for Newton to shoot Scott, Thorpe was acquitted of attempted murder at an Old Bailey trial in 1979, but Rinkagate – and the early onset of Parkinson’s disease – ended his parliamentary career.

    Congressman Randy “Duke” Cunningham. He was in company of high class escort in his private apartment at Hawaii’s Hapuna Beach Hotel. He had travelled with Brent Wilkes, owner of ADCS Corporation. On August 15, Wilkes told to his employees to hire two elite escorts for the meeting, according to the documents. Afterwards, two charming, professional escorts arrived accompanied by the driver. Some minutes later, Wilkes and Cunningham took escorts to separate rooms; less than an hour later, Wilkes gave one of the escort a 500 dollars “tip” for the high class services, according to the indictment. This scandal was by people’s ear during two years.

    It depends on what people come up with. It is our responsibility as AB'ers to recommend subcategories. These recommendations are taken so long as they are legitimate. Then, the questions regarding such a topic would be moved into it. I am sure I can think of others, but the question is, have enough questions been asked to warrant the creation of the category?
