In Peachtree 2009, how do I go back and look at a period in 2004?

    You would have to restore a backup of your 2004 data in order to do this.

    Peachtree only allows you to have two open years to reveiew at any given time. For instance, you probably have 2010 and 2011 data availble for review at the time of this posting.

    More recent versions of Peachtree (2009 and newer) do allow you to reveiew data in prior years that are not "open" starting in calendar year 2009 and going forward. You will be able to see all of the transactions in Financial and General Ledger reports.

    If you DO decide to restore an old backup, be sure to select a NEW COMPANY and then immediately fo into Maintain, Company Information and change the name to something like "2004 Acme Tool" so that it will be easily distinguished between old data and current 'live' data.
