Question

Help answer this question below.

Will cracking your wrist give you arthitis?
I had broken my wrist when I was 12 and doctors haven't pushed it back in place. When I try to twist it it cracks REALLY loud. I've read that cracking your knuckles MAY lead to arthritis.
Can anyone help?

My doctor told me that it is just a myth, that when you crack your wrists or knuckles or ankles etc the sound is no more than a pocket of air escaping from between your joints. It can't cause arthritis but if you have arthritis, it can make it worse.
