My girlfriend wants me to try on a pair of pantyhose? should i do it? if i like is it ok to keep wearing them? do women find pantyhose comfortable?

    Sure, I think you should at least try it. If you like them, great, if not, you at least made the effort. I think one of the worst things in a relationship is not to be open to these kind of things. I'm not saying anyone should do anything they don't want to, but the thing is you don't really know if you like something unless you try it. And yes if you like them, keep wearing them whats wrong with that? :) My guy wears them its his #1 fetish, and he introduced it to me almost 2 years ago, and for me, there's nothing sexier. I know some women don't like them, but I think they are so sexy being so smooth, shiny, tight, silky, etc. Yeah in the middle of the summer they can get a little hot lol, but I love it. It's a lifestyle for us, I wear them 24/7 (seriously). And of course during sex it's absolutely mind blowing. I've actually never had sex naked with him before lol. It adds so much to it. Anyway I'll shut up now lol...

    Do you want to? If it makes you feel uncomfortable, then don't, but it's only a pair of pantyhose. You can wear whatever you like. Wear a chandeleer the rest of your life for all it matters, it's up to you and what you feel comfortable in. And pantyhose never really bother me, but some women find them uncomfortable and too hot.

    definitly do it. as long as you are not bothered by it. as someone wrote, "it's only pantyhose." but if you and your girlfriend have some good quality pantyhose that are very silky smooth, both of you wearing them at the same time WILL be very very sensual and erotic. i recommend 'donna karen' sheer pantyhose. more couples should try this.

    Hahahahahaha... Wow, I'll have to ask my BF that tonight. Well, I like panty hose because 1. they keep me warm during the winter, and 2. some styles are extremely sexy. Personally, I don't think pantyhose would be comfortable on men because they're shaped for women, especially around the privates.

    If you like them, I'd say go for it, they're sort of like "extended" trouser socks.

    If she just wants you to try them on so that you can understand what a pain they are, then you could humor her and do it. If she wants you try them on to see what they look like and if you like them, and you are not comfortable with that, then you should only do what you feel does not comprimise you.

    I don't mind pantyhose in winter but it is super annoying that the run so easily (ruining them) and they are so expensive.

    Before there were so many outdoor gear and camping clothing companies, some men would wear hose or stockings under their clothes to go hunting or be outdoors in.

    My girlfriend and I do it all the time. If it turns her on go for it, you never know.. It may turn you on. Nothing wrong with it. Like others have said though, if you're uncomfortable with it.. Then don't. I'm a masculine man and my girl got me to do it. I actually enjoy it. So, do what you will but if you don't try it you'll never know. Plus, she'd obviously be turned on by it! No harm in trying.

    Since it is quite a while ago that you submitted your question, let me start by asking if you have tried on some pantyhose yet, and if yes whether you liked it.
    If not, I think you should definitely try it, if it were only to make your girlfriend happy. And you might be surpised. You might like pantyhose so much that you'll want to keep on wearing them. That is very OK, as long as you are comfortable and happy with it. But if you like pantyhose, you'll probably wish you tried them much earlier.
    There seem to be lots of women who don't like pantyhose, but what matters is that you and your girlfriend like it and are at ease and at peace with it.

    I wore pantyhose before I met my girlfriend. Now she can't get enough of them. I've never met a woman who thought pantyhose were comfortable to wear, but they are SOooo much more comfortable to lounge around in that Blue Jeans or Sweats.

    Wear them as often as you wish, whatever your comfort level is. My girlfriend wants to take me shopping for pantyhose at a Mall in Kalamazoo... as neither one of us know anyone there. She wants me to wear pantyhose and a denim skirt with my penny loafers while shopping. She wants to feel the thrill of me shopping for pantyhose and then paying for them while it is painfully obvious to everyone that the pantyhose are for me. I am not comfortable doing so yet, but it is very intriguing.

    I'm not trying to change social opinions about men wearing pantyhose, but I am beginning to expand my opinion... or should I say that my girlfriend is encouraging me to do so.

    If you're comfortable trying them on, do it - it's probably not like she wants you to wear them outside or anything. If you're not comfortable with doing it, don't. But often, you don't know you're going to like something until you try it - like sushi.

    I personally find pantyhose a bit of nuisance, mainly because the crotch always rides down between my thighs when I walk anything faster than a snail pace and I have to keep hitching them up under my clothes, which usually makes them ladder. Also, often the waistband sits far too high (like up to my ribs), or feels too tight. The best pantyhose I ever bought were crotchless ones, but I'm always scared when I when I wear them with a skirt that I'll fall over and someone'll see. Net-type pantyhose are quite a bit more comfortable - they've got more stretch and they don't ladder, and you can get them in hipster style, and they're a lot more interesting and sexy looking.

    I think for some men it's a kink to wear pantyhose and feel the clingy/nylony feel around the crotch. I totally don't get that, but there you go.

    Quite a few qomen I think have grown up recently with the stigma that pantyhose are uncomfortable and they get that from their mothers or other friends Kind of a peer pressure hatred toward them. They were very fashionable in the 80's and the trend has slipped so the attitudes have changed even though their are a lot of women who will say theyu hate wearing them and have never worn them a day in their lives.
    I am a guy and have worn them for most of my adult life. My wife knows this and we even buy them together. I find them very comfortable and even refreshing. I also wear them to bed at night to sleep in. Don't be afraid to like something if it feels good. Screw everyone else.
    If you are wondering I am completely strait and have three kids.

    Sure, some girls find the idea of their guy in pantyhose really hot! You can try it for her but let me warn you, you'll probably get addicted! Pantyhose feel and look so great that you won't want to take them off and eventually admit to her that you love them! Which would be OK with her too because she asked you to.
