That's a really great idea, my boyfriend is going overseas as well but I was just going to make him a photo album. I would suggest a lot of pictures of the two of you as well as his friends and family. Motivational but not overly cheesy quotes would be good. You could also write lyrics from his favorite songs, put in concert or movie ticket stubs, and write little random notes about how much you love him and miss him.

You're reading I am making a journal for my boyfriend who is going Afghanastan anyone have any ideas what to put in it? I am making it so he will have something to look at when he is having hard times or everyday so he knows that he is missed. Letters, Pics...any ideas?
