So. Go get yourself a rusty old ice skate, no anesthetic, some scraps of cloth, a rock, and prepare yourself for a hell of a lot of pain.

You need antibioeics to get rid of the abscess. then you need to have the tooth treated.

If you leave it, it may well cause such a severe infection that may prove fatal, so obviously the dentist is your best bet apart from very painfully tying a rope to your tooth and a 10 ton truck and letting it drive off :o)

Sorry, but the answer you don't want to hear is the only correct answer. Happened to me a couple times, it's better to get it taken care of now before you wind up on antibiotics before anything can be done by the dentist.
