Why does Rammstein singer Till Lindemann refuse to give interviews?

Till has never liked interviews. It's not because of his lack of good English speaking. He speaks English very well. He doesn't like to do interviews in German either. In 'anakonda im netz' Till informs us that he doesn't like to be stared at, and hates it and avoids it. So there is answer #1 he doesn't like to be the center of attention, and especially to a smaller crowd. And Till just is a white personality (Color code: It's a book) which means he is a quiet person. And he also is a secretive person, as are all of the Rammstein members. He doesn't like to be asked personal questions, and as all Rt fans know, he won't answer them. There. My answer *Hugs* and love for Till and his Fillies. Jennifer

Richard seems to like interviews very much . Even if Till is so charismatic because he is the singer (And also because he is a good writer cf "Messer", and has a powerful voice and a not so common figure ) it is possible that he is shy . By reading his texts (i am student in english and german literature), hearing his songs (that he also xrote !) and reading his biography, we learn that he is an artist with so much things to tell, a lot of things in his heart to express, to share . I am not really sure because I don't know him personnaly, but I am not sure that he is really keen on beeing seen as a people . Richard seems to be more keen of this to my mind . To learn more about Till, no need to read interviews : read his texts in German, and try to translate by yourself . You'll Find a text meaningful than the official translations .

Tillieanfillie is right on the money in the one interview that i have seen of him he clearly did state that he hated being stared at ...it's got nothing to do with not speaking english he's a quiet guy...besides even though i love till to death and would have his babies and would LOVE to see his face around more it is really nice to see a huge preformer not give himself away for fame or sell out ...just goes to show that he's even more awsome than we all thought TIll your my idol i love you don't ever stop doing what you do

This is a guy who would, now after so many years of touring, being photography, interviewed... away from home and family..not want to be in the public eye for a while. This is sure to burn out anyone after long periods of time. People pay a heavy price for fame. And it not always gets you happiness. He should vanish for a few years. Spend some time doing something else. He's got my support ! Lyza
