The Yankees' rotation of Sabathia, Wang, Burnett, Pettitte, and Chamberlain is one of the best in baseball.
My team is the Braves. I think we have a shaky pitching staff that could possibly be very good or a disaster. We got a lot of question marks. We have Derek Lowe, who you can probably pencil in for 15 wins. We have Jair Jurrjens who has the potential to be a all-star pitcher, but he's young. Our ace Tim Hudson is out for the year. We have some japanese pitcher in his mid-thrities that I don't know anything about. We have Vasquez, who's pretty much a .500 pitcher that gets a lot of strike-outs. We'll be lucky to get 20 starts out of Tom Glavine, we pretty much just signed him out of respect. All in all, I feel good but not great about our pitching staff. It's definitely better. We'll miss Smoltz though.

Cole Hammels (philly pitcher) pitched a bad game on Saturday. Later he said he pitched the game with a "dead arm", what does this mean?

If a batter swings & misses at strike 3 and the ball hits the ground, the catcher must tag the batter or throw to first. Why?
