I can't believe Ron Silver died today, he was one of my favorite actors...you?

    I am surprised to hear it, but I saw it on the news, so I have to believe it. Esophogeal cancer. He must have kept it pretty quiet.

    Oh, I'm saddened by this news.

    He wasn't one of my favorite actors, but I did enjoy seeing him on the screen. He played a jerk so often that it was a treat to see him play a decent guy. In particular, I remember the Chuck Norris film, "Silent Rage," in which he played a psychiatrist who gets murdered by his patient.

    How sad.
