    Depends on the PC. It comes down to the actual PC power supply, they vary. Older PC's usually had a power supply of 250 to 350 watts, newer typically have one from 450 to 1000 watt. Take that and add the wattage of you monitor(s), which vary as well and you will get your wattage. My PC has a 650 watt power supply and my 21in CRT monitor take 1800 and my 17in CRT take 1200, so I have a total of 3450 watts to run my PC. I will tell you that LCD's use significantly less wattage then CTR monitors on average, and Plasma only use slightly less. Basically its cheaper to run a fridge then a PC.
