Yep. He wrote them in the 80s and 90s. I think he may still be writing them. I got tired of them- I felt he kept on writing after the concept grew stale but I thought the first several books in the series were good fun.

You're reading Have you heard of the Warlock series by Christopher Stasheff? a novel about an agent sent to a primitive colony world full of psychics (know as witches and warlocks) whose government he is trying to guide toward democracy while stopping the enemy agents.

the last i read, he had moved on to the adventures of the warlock's oldest son, magnus, as he traveled planet to planet doing the hero thing.
