Help answer this question below.

I have a 2 1/2 month old son with Down Syndrome.His father wants joint custody.His father is a convicted felon, spent time in prison for drug use and nearly killing his own brother with a bat.I think he is still drinking and doing drugs.Can he get it?

    Yes. Wow, that's a heavy load to carry. His father has every right to be in his life, but not if it endangers the life of your child. Quite honestly, with that kind of record and the uncertainty of his drug/alcohol use, I wouldn't let him step within 100 feet of your son.

    I would get a lawyer. Prove that your ex need supervised visits to prove he can handle any problem that might come up. Maybe have your sons doctors write a letter on the importance of this matter. good luck
