its very simple, h20 works well, but the secret, add any type of h20 softner as well, dont use alot of water, go easy and use the water softner as well, seal it all in a plastic bag overnight, and remember, clay is never ruined, you may also have to allow it to dry out first if its to soggy, good luck

Im a potter, i want to know, when it comes to larger, thick hand built or sculptural pieces, how long does one need to dry these prior to doing the initial bisque fire?

You're reading I was working with some clay the other day, when it dried out. I soaked it in some water to fix it, but now its too soggy. What should i do to get it workable again?
