Question

Help answer this question below.

Aren't those thin "thread-type" belt loops tha come with a new dress or blouse suppose to be cut off? Aren't they just there to hold the belt so that it doesn't get lost while the dress or blouse is on the rack? Silly question, but lots of views on this!

I don't know I had a skirt with this huge belt - you know meant to be worn loosely around the waist and one of the stringie thingies broke and it was so annoying to try and keep my belt straight.

If they are the same colour, you can wear them as straps providing they look ok, but a different colour, and they're definitely for hanging the dress up by.

I would think they are there for the belt to go thru. If you take the dress off or just undo the buckle the belt doesn't fall on the floor.

They are usually considered as the loops for the belt provided
