The first thing I did was send out emails to everyone I could think of and put a .com after their name. I really thought they would get it i.e. Bill Clinton, Judge Judy, Billie Joel. I actually received an answer from Judge Judy or at least from someone who had a website in her name. Then I discovered casino games which were just for points and no money involved. Spent the first 3 days playing the slots. Great question.

When I had my first Internet access, I messed the whole thing up, caught two virus and had to have it repaired. I can only remember the general issue, no special details.

Yes, it was sooo fun. I remember I had no idea what to look for back in 1998, I went online to find tabluature for Radiohead's "High and Dry" and I still have the tablature.

No... I don't remember, for sure. But I remember a friend of mine said one of the first things he did (back in the 90s) was search for "breasts" and it came up with an odd number, which he thought was somewhat ironic, since most breasts travel in pairs.

It was in 1998 when I connected our first "Pionex" computer to a phone line...and the first thing I saw was the MSN page. Then I went to QVC.COM because my wife wanted to see how it looked like. A few minutes later I disconnected the computer because I was making a long distance phone call. There was no local Internet service phone connection where I lived at that moment.

I remember exactly. I was visiting my son in northern California and he showed me how to get "hooked up" and investigate different sites. Next morning while he was still asleep I made my coffee and got on the 'net' looked up "college libraries" and traveled all over the world spending time in dozens of college libraries. It was very exciting..the fact that I was able to visit the far corners of the earth without leaving his home was very exciting to me! :)

I got the internet because I heard about napster. The first thing I did was open a yahoo email then installed bearshare then started bearsharing I could download about 10 meg an hour 2 or 3 mp3's the days of dial up.

The first internet access I had was AOL, the first thing I did was jump in a chat room lol. Don't miss those days.
