Can WIndows Vista be upgraded from 32-bit to 64-bit using the same upgrade CD?

    You can't upgrade a 32 bit system to a 64 bit system. It will be a complete new install. You can't run setup from Windows either. You need to boot of the Windows for 64 CD and do a clean install.

    No.

    64 bit Vista is a total recompile of everything. Including all the drivers. It must be installed from its own CD.

    I am not even sure it can replace an existing 32 bit vista without losing registry etc. Not sure there though, it might be possible.
