"The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin ( piano )

" Music Box Dancer" [ I forget the composer and performer but it was a significant hit ] ( piano )

the "Largo" movement in Antonio Vivaldi's ' Concerto in D Major for Lute, RV. 93.' Though written for lute, I've heard it played beautifully on guitar, too. I highly recommend this one -- it's one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard. Truly, "ever."

big fan of either Joe Satriani or Yngwie Malmstine for guitar. lots of speed and intricate riffs

piano, big fan of some of the stuff Beethoven composed, nothing i'd listen to on a regular basis, but it can be very relaxing

Piano - a whole lot of the classical piano repertoire.

    Billy Joel's stuff

    Bob Seger's stuff

Guitar - a whole lot of the classical GUITAR repertoire - for isntance, Concierto de Aranjuez and Recuerdos de la Alhambra

A lot of Mark Knofler's work. Sultans of Swing, for example, has delicious guitar work (the vocals are okay)
A lot of Jimi Hendrix's work

I love a good bit of bluegrass guitar
