What came first the chicken or the egg? If the chicken came first why do chickens come out of eggs if the eggs came first where was the chicken to lay the egg?

    Neither. Dinosaurs slowly evolved into many types of birds, one of them being the chicken. Technically, you could say that the chicken came first. Over a long period of evolution, the dinosaurs would continue laying eggs. Then, the first one that would be considered a true chicken would inevitably be first, because the egg it came out of wasn't a chicken egg, but a 99% chicken, 1% dinosaur egg. Egg hatches = 100% chicken :D
