Thanks Galeanda! Nice to see you again. How are things down your way? Well, spring is not far off, so most of the birds should be returning soon. True, house sparrows are everywhere. We have had a family of crows here since we moved in. I know they are scavengers but they are fun to watch and very smart too.My favorite bird is the Rose Breasted Grosbeak. They usually show up here around the month of May. I love the spring so many new things coming to life.

Oh yes, there are signs of spring getting ready to pounce on us anytime now. The days have been around 40-50F and the snow is melting soooo fast! We've got a few patches here and there. The pond is still frozen but the rivers and streams are starting to flow again. The robins have arrived and I see flocks of geese flying overhead near every day now. We're looking forward to all the migrating birds and the summer visitors coming soon. It's such an exciting part of the year, sad to see the snow gone and the cool crisp DRY air, but I know that flowers and wildlife, courtship and babies, will be here soon:-)
