The lesson wants you to go to those Acts and find specific examples of conflict between the families (where they are not getting along) and explain how that affects Romeo and Juliet. Hope this helps!
-
Go to Wikipedia under "Romeo and Juliet" and scroll all the way to the bottom and there is a scene by scene synopsis.

do they not teach this at school anymore. FUCK, I'm only 26 but they taught this 12 yrs ago. you say obviuosly like it's the norm, it's not. every other cunt knows how to read it, jeez. maybe you should get help from a "special" teacher. What the fuck is happening to the education nowadays, they make it easier so more people pass, so the next generations of doctors etc won't be as good as the last, now people can't even read and enjoy shakespeare. fuck this, I'm gonna have to do some cleansing. :p

It's Middle English. Unless you have a most odd edition that was translated into Old English, you're looking at Middle English. Signet paperbacks have always had good footnotes and they are cheap.
-
In the book with the script in, they should have translations at either the back, front, or on the opposite page. That's what I had when I did my GCSEs, those notes help a lot.
