yes the ps1 memory cards will work with the "slim" model. but as stated before....you can only save ps1 games to the ps1 memory card and visa versa ps2 games to the ps2 memory card

Yes. for ps1 games. you can also copy ps1 files to a ps2 card and while you can't play them it is useful for backup files

I have two ps1 memory cards that function perfectly on a ps1 but only one of them, when used with ps1 software, will work on a slimline ps2.

mine does not work and it is very frustrating. I've read up on similar sites, and very few people have had a ps1 memory card work on the slim ps2.
