  • Are you talking about like a razor scooter? I have rode both bike and scooter and personally the scooter takes up more energy. Biking is much easier.
  • Yes, scooters are the immasculine version of a motorcycle. They have much less horsepower and speed. You don't see scooter gangs going around and raising hell.
  • It is not true. Most scooters that I see in town have a seat height thats about level with my motorcycle. If some motorcyclists (scooter drivers are bikers too) look down on scooter riders its because they have tall motorcycles. (Or too much self-importance.)
  • Majority of what bikers? There are very few of those left these days. If you mean motorcycle riders, then that's probably true. Generally the ones who think buying a bike made them a bad*** will look down on scooter riders because it makes them feel tough.
  • I don't look down on them but I don't usually consider them bikers. Being a Biker is more of a life style and a code of honor much more than what you ride. Most scooter riders use the scooter as a means of transportation, not a way of life.
  • I don't think so. There is a saying amongst motorcycle riders ... "It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride." Your question refers to the motorcycle riders that don't believe that.
