In the UK, if you have a meal you are allowed an alcoholic drink with that meal as well, if under 18. I don't know if there is a different age limit e.g. 16 but you are definitely allowed. If you are with your parents supervised, then I'm sure most places would allow them to buy you the occasional drink. If you're in your own hotel room, there's not much they could do to stop you drinking, perhaps aside from stopping you using room service, in which case yor parents can do it for you.

You can have wine, beer or cider if you are eating a full meal with adults supervising. You may not buy alcohol yourself, and you may not have alcohol if you are not eating a full meal (a sandwich doesn't usually count). This rule applies from 14 to 17.
