Why is it ok for men to sleep around, but when a women does, people judge her.....what do people think of women who have done this............

STOP!!! it is not right for anyone to cheat on anyone. lets live in reality, yes both sexes do cheat, and it is wrong for all! that's the bottom line!

It's always been this way all throughout history...Women are looked down upon if they sleep around, but for men it is a noble characteristic. This is mainly because it was a woman's duty to be a virgin at marriage,but not so much for men. In today's society Men can get away with sleeping around because women are still subconsciously viewed as a property status...the more you have the richer you are...it makes guys a stud. Also remember though, most men today do get criticized if they whore themselves out just not as bad as women...

Unfortunately, there are greater risks entailed with a woman sleeping around. A guy can get a girl pregnant, but he can also, when it comes down to it, choose to walk away, or deny responsibility. It's kind of hard to do that if you're the one with the baby growing inside you - even if you want to. So there's something to be gained by making the idea of sleeping around seem dirty or wrong to girls, and less so for guys. It's easier for guys to come out of it consequence free. I think with more reliable contraception, and changing attitudes about parenthood outside of marriage, attitudes are changing though.

I don't think it is okay for men to sleep around. And for the Judeo-Christian part of the world, it has always been wrong.
