Is the word "series" singular and plural?

    It is an irregular plural noun. Which means the same word is used for both the singular and the plural - like fish or headquarters.

    Depends on the context. I can be both depending on how you say it. A series is cingular. Every series is plural.

    It can be both. If you use it in a sentence like "I love that series" then it is singular. If you say "I like all the series by her" it is plural.

    I think it is considered singuler as it pertains to 1 set or 1 grouping of multiple events. i can't think of any better way to put it.
