Help answer this question below.

How does one go about their daily lives, having a job, knowing that there are so many people laid off right now? Do you feel guilty for having a job or glad that you at least do have a job?

    I am blessed to have a job with benefits. So now I have insurance. I feel guilty because I have insurance when so many others don't but I am very blessed to have a job and insurance. I may get laid off tomorrow. It's highly doubtful but you never know with cutbacks and all. I am VERY BLESSED.

    I never worried then and not ever. That was a choice by the employer who doesn't care.

    So why bother?? I'd feel bad about the guy who wants to work, but the employers are scared of having an ex-felon work there..Sheesh!

    I'am very thankful that i have a job, especially since i have 2 children ages 10 and 5 to support. My ex husband is 7000 dollars behind in support and doesnt seem to care. I feel sorry for people who have lost their jobs because of the economy. But there is a lot of lazy people out there that just don't want to work or are not willing to take just any job to have a paycheck coming in. we just hired a guy where i work and after 6 days he just did'nt show up or even call us.

    I can't save the world and I can't worry about these other people before I worry about my own family. Feel guilty? Why would I feel guilty? The harsh reality is that some people get fu*ked over in life and there isn't a lot somebody like me can do to even make a dent in the unemployment situation. I don't want an ulcer worrying about the world and ALL of its problems.
