Straight, on my own it would be around 10 hours on Final Fantasy x.
However, when Sonic first came out on the megadrive, me, my sister and her friend took consecutive turns playing, and played for 2 days straight with one person sleeping while the other played.
Due to excessive games playing I now have photosensitive skin and must avoid direct sunlight.

Probably 12 to 14 hours when my dad got me a PS2.Only thing he forgot was the memory card. So i tried to beat the game without saving.... didn't work :)

I've done 24 hours+ on several different games. The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, EverQuest II, and this text game I used to play when I was a kid. Of course I didn't play straight through without any breaks, I stopped to eat, use the bathroom and shower.

I think mine was also FFVII, although FFX may have run it close. I reckon I probably managed 6 or 7 hours straight on FFVII.
I remember one occassion where my mum called me down to dinner and I couldn't go because I was trying to do that bit in Cid's spaceship (guessing the code in a time limit). My mum stormed in and shouted 'Stop playing that damned game' and pressed the reset button...
I hadn't saved it in about an hour. Our relationship suffered.

I'd say probably about 20 minutes. I can't remember, really, but I once picked up a controller for the Sega Genesis I got my son (when it first came out), and put it down after I decided it wasn't my sort of thing.

Not sure, I have played World of Warcraft from early evening into the early hours of the next morning, so that must be getting on for 8-9 hours.
Baldur's Gate 2 often took me from daytime to the early hours as well. Although I can think of several other games I have played all day without really stopping for things other than food and toilet.
Quite worrying really.

I usually do AT LEAST 14 hours on a Saturday ;) (counting Sunday AM as part of Saturday)
and 10 hours sleeping on Saturday XD

When they first came out with energy drinks. Me and about 5 friends lanned on counterstrike. We played without sleeping, or leaving the computer for 36 straight hours. Ate during deaths. LOL we were such losers. I think world of warcraft we did another one that was pretty close but that weekend took it down. Never heard of anyone doing more straight.
